You really need to get your trailer to sit level when you are towing. What you'll want to achieve is at least 6 inches of clearance between the trailer overhang and the bed rails of the truck with the trailer sitting as level as possible.

From what I have found, the 2003 Jayco Designer 32 RLTS has a GVWR of 13,500 lbs. The tandem axles will have enough capacity to handle the GVWR but typically subtract the pin weight from the GVWR. I was unable to find the pin weight, but using 15-20% of your GVWR you probably have 5,200 lb or 6,000 lb axles with 6k being the more likely of the two.

In order to choose the correct replacement leaf springs for a trailer you'll need to know the axle capacity and unloaded length, the number of leaves is not really pertinent. If you're just wanting to replace the rooftop unit and maintain your current air distribution box and thermostat then you can replace it with a Furrion unit along with a white harness adapter since Coleman units use a 9-pin connector and Furrion only uses a 6-pin connector. Atwood was sold to Dometic a few years back and replacement parts for older landing gear are scarce. We do still have Stromberg Carlson Landing Gear repair kit for the follow jack that will fit, part # LG-146060. For a lead jack repair kit use # LG-146059.

I do have an option for you but we do not have a standard axle that would work on your 2010 Jayco Designer 5th wheel trailer. Instead, you would want to look into one of our Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension Systems like part # TASR7KS01. This system will actually replace the leaf springs on your trailer with a set of aeon springs that will work to absorb road shock and support the trailer's load better than the traditional leaf springs would.

There is a way to allow you to replace the factory cast equalizer on your 2003 Jayco Designer 31RLS 5th wheel trailer with the Dexter E-Z Flex Equalizers.
Since your current equalizers are just over 6-1/4" long you will need to use longer shackle straps to make up the difference as the # K71-654-00 only work with equalizers up to 6-1/4" long.
Since you mentioned your factory shackles are 2-3/8" long you can replace them with the 2-3/4" long # TRSL275 which will put you in the useable... view full answer...
Sorry to hear about the hair loss but I'm sure it can grow back after you figure out the issue. It sounds like you have narrowed it down quite a bit if the switch, fuses and motor all seem to be fine and the jacks work when plugged into the truck. I don't know what jacks you have, what generator you are using or how the jacks are connected but the wiring seems like the only thing that can be causing the problem. We do have a nice selection of switches that may work well to control the new LED light strips inside your cargo trailer. You will just need to make sure you choose a switch that is rated properly for the draw of your lights. Since LED lights aren't going to draw much power at all, going with a 10 amp switch like the Pollak Light-Duty Toggle Switch # PK34513 should be enough, but you will want to check to make sure.
